People following their passions are what ICE is all about. In 1998, I got an education in high-end audio cable technology as a National Sales Manager for a US based, cable manufacturer. Though audio video was my background, cable piqued my interest more than anything and in 1999, I created a line of audio video interconnects which has since become a national brand. Shortly thereafter, I followed it up with a line of speaker cables for residential home prewire. After consulting for a major US cable manufacturer in 2003, I started an audio/video distribution company in Los Angeles with a strong emphasis on wire and cable. The cable portion of the company took on a life of its own and ICE Cable Systems was born.

We noticed that many wire companies didn’t carry enough products to satisfy the needs of the Audio/Video professionals who were doing residential and commercial prewires. Installer’s were buying from three or four different companies to get everything they needed and it simply didn’t make sense. Our first philosophy was therefore, to be a one-stop solution. The few “national” companies who did carry a wider range of cables were taking advantage of their unique position by charging exorbitant rates for many of their cables.
